Sit Stay Fetch gives an abnormally detailed look at how to prevent and deal with the more common dog behavior problems. Owning a couple o' semi troublesome dogs myself, I've spent a lot of time searching the Internet for top notch resources on this. I must say that the amount of information and detail within the pages of this compilation (Sit Stay Fetch) is extremely exacting for an online book.
Not only that, the information at hand is completely reliable. Written by a well-known experienced dog trainer (Daniel Stevens), you may abide by the knowledge the advice is tried and true. In fact, Daniel Stevens uses his real-life experiences as a professional dog trainer.
EXPECTATIONS of CONTENTS in SIT STAY FETCH - DOG BEHAVIOR TRAINING
There is a very commendable array of info packed into this guide. A lot more than dog behavior problems are covered too. There is new-owner advice, picking a suitable puppy/dog, the best places to look for one, breed information, dog-proofing your home, first vet visit, and more. After all that you get more advanced stuff; dog behavioral problems (aggression, chewing, digging, barking, dominance, separation anxiety, and much more). Next comes the intermediate-level, such as the obedience commands, health-related dog problems (allergies, cat/dog coexistence, fleas, heatstroke, and so on), and finally advanced commands and tricks, right on up to things like the philosophy of dog whispering
MOST INTRIGUING PART is DOG WHISPERING
There's a very interesting section on dog whispering, in case you live under a rock that is a technique of dog training based on the philosophy of clear communication and mutual respect. Popularized by Cesar Millan ("The Dog Whisperer"), Dog Whispering is becoming very well-known as an option and is a humane process for disciplining and training your dog. SitStayFetch has devoted a complete section just to dog whispering: Dan Stevens explores the background of the method and how to use your voice and observe the body language of your dog. Actually based on the popular book (and movie) "the Horse Whisperer" you are shown how to use this technique to evenly, strongly, and efficiently correct and train your dog, to your best advantage.
Instructions are included for the common commands (sit, down, come, stay, quiet, etc) as well.
Several Bonuses are Included
Who doesn't enjoy getting something for nothing? The Freebies offered with this book are not only numerous, they are actually helpful.
The book itself costs $37. For this price, you get a highly detailed (almost too much so) and thorough e-book on training your dog, stopping and management of behavioral problems, and a ton of general-knowledge tips and advice.
There are four bonus books, that cover the subjects on advanced housetraining, a thorough study on solving canine aggression, to best methods to groom your dog (with dental care, and nail-clipping how-to's); and how to train your dog for security work.
The best bonus is a personal session with a member of the Kingdom of Pets team. If your dog has a problem you'd like some individual help with, just send an e-mail and get a personalized response from one of the experts on how to correct your dog's problem. This is a great feature to have at your fingertips.
IN CONCLUSION
I am very impressed with this package. I've owned dogs throughout my life and believed I was better-prepared than most to deal with the oddities they can exhibit.
After reading this book, I found that I was not nearly as knowledgeable as I thought I was. I learned more reading this manual than in my lifetime of dog ownership combined. Do you know how to keep your dog from tugging on the leash, without using a check-chain? Well, I know now but not until I read this book.
The methods of the training are surprisingly common-sense, simple, tactics to dog training. Some other methods (dog whispering) are more complex but produce some very dynamic results. More than one training technique is detailed, so that the reader may pick and choose the methods that are best suited to them and their own dog.
I absolutely recommend this complete package to everyone who owns, or even thinking about owning a dog. You don't need to have a "bad dog" for the book to be helpful. There's a lot of information in it that will be useful to all dog owners.

Those semi troublesome dog are two shelties, Djakarta and Jumanji, and there is not anything they can do that would ever outweigh the reward. Still, more understanding of their behavior and how to correct those parts of it I didn't like have even further enriched our bond. Peter
