You want to make sure you give him a positive reward by telling them "good boy" and give them some attention for learning how to sit on command. They will understand that this is a good thing they are doing and will continue to do it.

4. Your families responsibility: Teach your family how to begin to take care of the puppy. Many kids love puppies and they are the reason that many families get a family pet. Give them some of the responsibility of what it means to have a pet. This not only teaches them how to learn responsibilities; but will also help you relieve some of the responsibilities how to train your puppy/dog.

5. Understanding: Be patience and give your dog time to learn everything. We all require time to learn new habits and it is no different for your family pet.
